Facilities Maintenance Position

jetCenter locations include: Colorado Springs, CO, Denver, CO and Fort Collins-Loveland, CO

The Denver (APA) location specifically is seeking to fill a Facilities Maintenance position. This position will be responsible for helping maintain multiple buildings, minor electrical, general construction, plumbing, grounds maintenance and on call snow plow maintenance for Denver jetCenter located in Englewood at Centennial Airport. Prior experience with plumbing, electrical and HVAC preferred, but not required.

Required Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities:

• Age 21
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively both in written and and oral form
• Must be a team Player
• Must be a quick learner
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must have problem solving / conflict resolution skills, but know when to escalate
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, security check, motor records check and non-DOT physical, post offer; certain positions may require a credit check.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, ability to distinguish colors, and ability to adjust.

Must possess sufficient mobility, strength, or dexterity in both arms and hands and both legs to reach upward, sideways, downward to work with paper files and sufficient mobility and dexterity to utilize computer systems, fax machines, copiers, and other office.

Must possess: 1) ability to read and understand instructions, drawings, safety guides, and other written materials necessary to perform job; 2) sufficient visual capacity to perform the applicable functions without assistance of visual aids other than eye contacts or eye glasses; 3) sufficient spoken aural capacity to hear and understand instructions, warning bells, fire alarms, or shouted instructions without assistance of auditory aids other than a hearing aid; and 4) ability to impart information orally so that others understand and can respond appropriately.

Prior Building Maintenance experience

Compensation includes a base salary and competitive benefits package.

Salary Range

$27+ per hour, commensurate experience
