Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic math skills for measuring and recording production data.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment. Capable of developing and implementing complex procedures from general instructions while exercising sound judgment and discretion.
• Willingness and ability to work a 12 hour shift schedule with evening/weekend work (Week 1:M/T/F/Sa, Week 2: Su/W/Th).

Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses

• K-Stran Band 1, OJT sign-offs
• Education Required - High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing facility. May involve working under deadlines. Requires: broad range of physical and mental activities to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position:

• You will be required to stand for 10+ hrs./day, walk for 5+ hrs./day, sit for 1+ hr./day, seldom drive a forklift, constant engage in overhead reach, forward reach, bend, kneel, squat, stoop, twist, make position changes, use manual dexterity, push/pull w/arms and legs, wear protective equipment, physical endurance, attention to detail, memory recall, effective communication, adaptability, hearing, depth perception, visual acuity, frequent climbing, lift/carry items weighing 5-51+ lbs., repetitive motion, problem-solving, and color vision. Typical tools, equipment, and machinery utilized include saws (circular saw and radial arm), routers, grinders, manual and power hand tools, micrometers, tape measures, scales, air hoses, air wands, calculators, computers, and overhead vacuum lift. The position involves full shifts in an environment with extreme temperatures exceeding 100 F during summer months.
