About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for AI Engineering to lead and drive impactful AI initiatives within the financial services sector, with a focus on private credit investment strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering production AI systems that enhance various processes, including sourcing, underwriting, monitoring, and reporting for private credit investments. This role involves close collaboration with investment, risk, and operations teams to develop AI-driven solutions that address portfolio analytics and financial workflows. The SVP will also be tasked with leading and developing a high-performing engineering team, staying hands-on with coding and design, and ensuring the integration of emerging AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 13 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2-3 years in AI development, and a proven track record of effectively managing engineering teams. Strong expertise in Python, experience with production AI systems at scale, and knowledge of modern LLM frameworks are essential. The role requires substantial experience in financial services, particularly in asset management or banking, and proficiency in cloud platforms like Azure. Familiarity with portfolio analytics, financial datasets, and investment workflows is advantageous, with a preference for candidates who have experience in private credit or credit-focused investing. The ideal candidate will be adept at architecting and building scalable AI systems, ensuring robust project management, and driving enterprise AI initiatives that align with the company's investment strategies.
