Substance Use Counselor

Join a compassionate organization as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor dedicated to helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve recovery. In this role, you will provide individual and group counseling, conduct assessments and screenings, develop treatment plans, and coordinate community support services . You will also maintain clinical documentation, support clients in reaching personal goals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams . Qualifications include a valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential , an associate's degree in human services or related field (bachelor's preferred) , and knowledge of addiction, recovery, and case management principles . Experience with justice-involved populations and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Key skills include counseling, case management, teamwork, and documentation .
