Area Sales Manager for the Midwest (USA) (m/f/d)

We are looking for two motivated Area Sales Managers for the Midwest (USA) (m/f/d) with experience in electronics sales or a related technical sales field. Your tasks: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories Manage and grow existing customer accounts while ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction Conduct regular outreach (calls, emails, visits) to build and nurture customer relationships Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and value‑based proposals Track opportunities, leads, and activities using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) Provide basic product guidance, including explaining features, benefits, and applications Coordinate with engineering or product teams when deeper technical support is needed Assist with product demos, sample coordination, and customer onboarding Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports for management Your skills: 3 - 5 years of sales experience, ideally with an electronics distributor or technical products supplier Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Familiarity with electronic components, test equipment, or related technologies preferred Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills Experience using CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce, SAP, or similar) Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and travel as required What we offer: A challenging position that is rich in variety Job security in a growing company Targeted induction International and interdisciplinary work assignments and projects Flexible working time and mobile working Modern IT equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr rexx systems GmbH
