We're partnering with an established and growing Atlanta-area construction company looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of commercial projects from preconstruction and planning through execution and closeout

This is not a narrowly defined PM role where estimating handles one piece, procurement handles another, and you simply track the schedule. You'll have exposure to the full lifecycle of a project and the opportunity to make decisions, solve problems, work directly with customers, and see the impact of your work.

We're especially interested in high-performing Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers who are ready to take the next step in their careers.

What You'll Own

You'll help drive projects from the early planning stages through successful completion, including:

• Managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Coordinating schedules, procurement, material releases, equipment, and field requirements
• Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, project logs, and documentation
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes, and contract requirements
• Working directly with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field teams
• Managing purchase orders, subcontractor agreements, equipment orders, and material procurement
• Monitoring lead times and identifying potential schedule or procurement risks before they become problems
• Supporting estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and project cost management
• Participating in customer and project meetings
• Visiting active project sites and staying connected to what is happening in the field
• Troubleshooting project challenges and driving them through resolution
• Taking accountability for project performance, communication, and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

We're less concerned with an exact number of years and more interested in what you've actually been responsible for

A strong candidate will typically bring around 3–8+ years of commercial construction experience with progressive responsibility.

Your background could include:

• Project Manager
• Assistant Project Manager
• Project Engineer
• Mechanical Project Manager
• Mechanical Project Engineer
• Construction Project Manager

Experience with a mechanical contractor is highly preferred , but we're also interested in candidates from general contractors who have meaningful experience managing or coordinating mechanical scopes.

Experience with HVAC, piping, plumbing, hydronic systems, chilled water, mechanical equipment, or other commercial building systems would be especially valuable.

A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Building

Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, but practical construction experience and demonstrated ability to perform the job are highly valued.
