Patient Qualification Specialist

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Patient Qualification Specialist will support patients and providers by reviewing orders and documentation, ensuring compliance with health insurance requirements, and enhancing patient experiences in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Review and process new patient orders and documentation to facilitate timely care and maximize health plan benefits Request health plan authorizations and collaborate with field leadership to improve patient experiences Identify and address common complaints by analyzing trends and implementing preventative measures Required qualifications High school degree or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing Strong mathematical proficiency for interpreting and developing spreadsheet data
