Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT with New Cross Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting therapy sessions with couples and families, ensuring each session addresses individual and collective issues.

• Developing treatment plans catered to the unique needs of your clients, while adapting to the family dynamics at play.

• Addressing a wide range of issues including alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflict among family members, job stress, and communication issues.

• Facilitating therapy for blended families and aiding in the adjustment to separation and divorce.
\n
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to ongoing program development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with diverse populations, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will support families navigating through complex challenges, such as psychological abuse, blended family dynamics, and mother-daughter conflicts. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve better mental health outcomes and improved family relationships.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A current and active state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
