Registered Nurse - Postpartum

Schedule

12hr Nights, 7pm-7am, weekend shifts required.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 14

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NRP
• Preference for experienced travelers due to high volume and pace
• MUST work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day AND 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and practices
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in the medical record
