PruittHealth is seeking a dedicated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to oversee therapy services in our skilled nursing and post-acute care setting. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced rehabilitation professional who is passionate about improving patient outcomes while guiding a team of Therapists. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring high-quality patient care
• Supervise and support a team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and OTAs
• Coordinate therapy services in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and documentation standards
• Monitor departmental performance, productivity, and financial goals
• Recruit, train, and mentor therapy staff to support career growth and retention
• Oversee scheduling and resource allocation to optimize patient care delivery
• Drive quality improvement initiatives within the therapy department

Qualifications:

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Current, active license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree in Therapy from an accredited program
• Prior leadership or management experience in a skilled nursing, inpatient rehab, or post-acute care setting strongly preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
