Collections Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collections Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and recovering outstanding accounts, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service throughout the collections process. Key Responsibilities Contact customers via phone and email to collect outstanding payments in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collection activities and customer interactions using dashboards and accounting software. Perform account reconciliations and ensure all payments are properly applied in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Follow up consistently on overdue accounts to reduce delinquency and improve cash flow. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in collections and accounts receivable. Strong phone and email communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in dashboard input and data management. Knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes. Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or similar accounting software.
