About the Role
The Company is seeking a President & CEO to lead its mission of expanding access, inclusion, and opportunity for individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages. The successful candidate will be a mission-driven, strategic executive with a proven track record in a complex, multi-state organization. Key responsibilities include providing strategic, operational, and organizational leadership, ensuring financial sustainability, and driving strategic growth and service expansion. The role demands a leader with strong financial management capabilities, experience in diversifying revenue, and the ability to navigate varied regulatory and funding environments. The President & CEO will also be responsible for fostering a unified organizational culture, advancing technology and innovation, and strengthening external relationships and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have significant executive leadership experience, with a preference for those who have overseen multi-state operations and have a background in human services. They should be adept at balancing organization-wide consistency with local responsiveness, using technology and data to enhance operational performance, and translating strategic priorities into measurable results. A deep commitment to the values of inclusion, dignity, and respect is essential, as is the ability to build and lead a high-performing, diverse team. The role requires a leader who is a visible, approachable, and authentic champion of the organization's mission, capable of building trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. An advanced degree is preferred, but equivalent executive experience will be considered.
