Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for ongoing night shift work in a high-acuity environment. Responsibilities Include Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care Serving as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit needs Educating patients and families on health and disease management Administering medications safely and supporting effective resource utilization Ensuring compliance with practice standards, regulations, and policies Participating in quality improvement, peer review, and shared governance initiatives Mentoring new staff and students, and performing charge nurse duties when assigned Engaging in ongoing professional development and continuing education Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred Current New York State RN license; CCRN and certifications like ACLS/PALS preferred Compassionate, team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to patient-centered care Excellent communication, collaboration, and professionalism Work Environment: Fast-paced clinical setting with frequent movement, exposure to disinfectants, PPE use, and serving all age groups.
