Salary: Up to $100,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
A respected senior living community in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Director of
Wellness (RN) lead all clinical operations within its Assisted Living community. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, resident-focused nursing leader who enjoys building strong teams, maintaining high clinical standards, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults.
As the clinical leader of the community, you will oversee nursing services, supervise clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional resident care in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing and wellness services within the Assisted Living community.
• Supervise, mentor, and support licensed nurses and care staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Complete comprehensive resident assessments and oversee individualized service plans.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state regulations, clinical standards, and quality initiatives.
• Monitor medication management systems and clinical documentation.
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement programs focused on resident outcomes and safety.
• Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and staff education programs.
• Partner with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional, person-centered care.
• Foster a positive culture built on teamwork, compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Senior Living. (Will consider an RN with extensive Assisted Living experience and ready to take the next step into leadership with out prior directorship experience)
• Strong knowledge of Assisted Living regulations and regulatory survey processes.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
