Step into a vital role supporting student health and well-being in a thriving school environment near Naperville, IL. Two contract opportunities are open for talented Certified School Nurses (CSNs) or CSN students ready to play a key part in the school community for the academic year, approximately August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Both positions are based in Romeoville—one at a high school (7:15 a.m. – 2:25 p.m.), the other at an elementary school (8:25 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.), each offering a steady 37.5-hour workweek.

As a Certified School Nurse, you will oversee the health office, conduct thorough medical reviews, and engage meaningfully in both IEP and 504 planning processes. Your leadership will help ensure every student’s needs are met, blending medical expertise with educational support. The role is multifaceted, blending clinical care with collaboration among educators, students, and families.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Nurse endorsement required (not just an RN license).
• Completion or pursuit of CSN coursework/program—candidates who are CSN students will be considered.
• Previous experience as a CSN and Spanish language skills are highly valued.
• Demonstrated flexibility, teamwork, and reliability—essential in dynamic school settings.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with diverse student populations.
