Technical Systems Analyst

Job Posting Title: Technical Systems Analyst
Location: Greater Boston Area / 1 day per week onsite
Duration: 10+ month contract, likely extension / long-term contract
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for business-critical applications and resolve escalated incidents.
- Support and troubleshoot secure file transfer solutions (MoveIT or similar SFTP platforms).
- Monitor application health, investigate alerts, and assist with outage resolution.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.
- Document troubleshooting activities, procedures, and operational processes.
- Partner with technical teams and business users to resolve issues and enhance application performance.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in application support, systems support, or a related technical role.
- Experience supporting MoveIT or comparable managed file transfer/SFTP solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, integrations, and technical environments.
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Application monitoring and alerting tools.
- AWS environments and modern application architectures.
- Knowledge of SDLC concepts and change management processes.
- Process improvement and automation initiatives.
