Project Assistant

JOBSITE ASSISTANT Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, PayneCrest Electric, a Primoris Company, has been an established leader in providing solution-oriented industrial, commercial, and telecom electrical contracting services for large, complex, engineering-intensive projects for over 70 years. We are seeking a motivated and organized Jobsite Assistant responsible for supporting the team at our jobsite in Lincoln, Nebraska. The perfect candidate values a fast-paced work environment and is adaptable to taking on new tasks. PayneCrest Electric’s Jobsite Assistant will work directly with our Project Managers in the jobsite trailer to perform various administrative needs. Key Responsibilities Gather daily time sheets from Foreman. Enter daily time in timekeeping application. Work with Foreman and Payroll to resolve pay discrepancies. Answering, placing, and responding to phone calls for project coordination. Handling interoffice mail. General assistance with various tasks that arise. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience working in an administrative accounting capacity; construction industry a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Critical Competencies Organized and detail oriented. Ability to multi-task and to complete work efficiently by prioritizing tasks. Professional attitude and appearance. Team Player. Eager to help where needed with smile and enthusiasm. Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Reporting Relationship Reports to Project Director LOCATION Project Site – New Florence, MO Compensation Hourly wage commensurate with experience. Bonus opportunity.
