You will gain experience across the full scope of accounting management at a transparent, highly sophisticated global public company — including content-platform-specific policies. We are looking for someone who wants to expand their financial career by proactively driving the closing process, taking ownership of decision-making, continuously improving closing efficiency by actively leveraging AI, and actively supporting the business units' various new business initiatives.What You'll DoPerform monthly/quarterly/annual financial accounting close and provide financial support to business unitsConduct monthly P&L analysis and establish accounting policiesReview financial accounting issues and support/respond to external auditsPlan and drive improvements to closing-related processes and systems, including the active use of AI to increase efficiencyActively communicate with the finance teams of WEBTOON group affiliates in Korea, Japan and Canada to enhance the completeness and reliability of financial closingRequired Experience7~12 years of experience in US-GAAP or IFRS accounting and standalone/separate financial closingExperience supporting and responding to external audits at a publicly listed companyStrong sense of responsibility and professional ethics, with a proactive approach to workSkilled in internal/external communication and flexible in collaborationFluent in both Korean and EnglishProactive in leveraging AI to improve processes and drive efficiencyPreferred ExperienceAccounting certification(s) (CPA)Experience in the IT/platform industryExperience preparing for the adoption of new accounting standards and establishing accounting policiesExperience improving closing-related processes/systemsExperience applying AI or automation tools to accounting/finance processesSalary Range and Description $110,000 - $150,000 / annually Please note, the above range is listed in USD.With approximately 155 million monthly active users, WEBTOON Entertainment's IP & Creator Ecosystem of aligned brands and platforms include WEBTOON, Wattpad--the world's leading webnovel platform--WEBTOON Productions, Studio N, Studio LICO, WEBTOON Unscrolled, LINE MANGA, and eBookJapan, among others.Join us and work with some of the biggest artists, IP, and fandoms in comics!
