As Care Giver/Medication Technician , you’ll play an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors, creating meaningful connections, and making a difference every single day. Your Role: As the Care Giver/Medication Technician , your role includes providing hands-on care, administering medications, and offering physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment. Position Highlights: Status: Full and Part time Schedule: 3p-11p Location: 3000 Balfour Circle Phoenixville PA 19460 Rate of Pay: $20-$23 per hour + Shift Differential for 3-11p is $1.5/hr What You’ll Do: Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating) while promoting dignity, independence, and safety. Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly, including refusal of medications or missed doses Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities. Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well-being. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces. Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems. Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes in condition. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred High school diploma or GED required Must Provide updated Med Certification paperwork that meets DHW regulations for a PA personal care home and Diabetic Training Certificate Must be at least 18 years of age CPR and First Aid certification preferred Previous experience working with seniors preferred Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment Benefits You’ll Enjoy: Competitive wages Early access to earned wages before payday!
