Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Position in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM Thu 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM Fri 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM Sat 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM Sun 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, team members, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns, and communicate observations with site contacts and local authorities when appropriate. Support a welcoming shopping environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and helping to address customer service concerns within the scope of the post. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
