Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Specialist in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and other security‑related policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or local contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and document security‑related incidents, visitor activity, and/or daily observations in accordance with site guidelines. Support emergency response activities and follow post orders for a dynamic technology location where working environments and conditions may vary by site. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
