- Prepare and cook high-quality menu items accurately according to standardized recipes.
- Set up, stock, and maintain cook stations with all necessary supplies and prep ingredients.
- Execute orders efficiently during high-volume breakfast, lunch, or dinner rushes.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace in compliance with food safety laws.
- Monitor food portions, temperatures, and presentation to minimize waste and ensure quality.
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing deliveries using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices.
- Experience: Proven experience working as a line cook, prep cook, or short-order cook.
- Skills: Strong knife skills and deep knowledge of culinary cooking techniques and food safety.
- Pace: Ability to thrive and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work varied shifts (AM/PM) and weekends as needed.
- Physical: Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for 10-hour shifts on your feet.
- Lifting: Ability to lift, push, and carry objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs.
