Service Advisor

Service Advisors are responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs, assessing customer concerns, and providing cost estimates.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Serve as liaison between the service manager, shop foreman, parts personnel, technicians and warranty administration
• Greet Customers and offer excellent customer service from service reception to release of vehicle
• Write and verify accurate repair orders and include supporting documentation
• Inspect vehicles and apply proper resources to accurately identify and verify vehicle mileage and service needs
• Translate customer-reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete
• Review vehicle inspections with customers
• Prepare repair estimates
• Contact customers to keep them in the loop throughout the repair process and communicate when the vehicle is ready for pickup
• Ensure that parts are ordered for approved repairs/services
• Invoice and collect payments from customers for services rendered
• Handle and resolve customer complaints
• Consult with technicians regarding necessary repairs
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Adhere to the company’s dress code policy
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess excellent customer service and selling skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must have computer proficiency
• Must be flexible with schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
