Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching License in EBD, ASD, or ABS (attach license and resume for consideration)
• Experience supporting at-risk students in an educational environment
• Expertise in behavior support strategies
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and embrace best practices in special education
• Willingness to participate in Out of Field Licensure Placement, if necessary

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to 9th-12th grade students with diverse learning needs
• Create, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom, utilizing proactive behavior management techniques
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with all stakeholders
• Participate in professional development and school-based initiatives

This position is structured with a Monday-Friday schedule, aligning with school hours from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
