You will report to the Regional Director of Accounting Operations.Location:Compensation Range: $55,000-115,000, with a typical starting range of $70,000-115,000. Actual pay offered may vary depending on experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.What You'll DoFinancial Oversight: Maintain dealership financial records, ensure accurate month-end closings, and review general ledger schedules.Compliance & Controls: Monitor operational income statements, conduct fraud prevention reviews, and ensure adherence to internal controls and LAD financial policies.Cash Flow & Banking: Oversee accounts receivable collections, daily bank postings, and bank reconciliations.Payroll & Payables: Review or prepare payroll and accounts payable for accuracy and timeliness.Inventory & Fixed Assets: Conduct physical vehicle inventories, reconcile parts inventory, and support fixed asset reporting.Title & Registration: Resolve issues related to inbound and outbound vehicle documentation.Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with dealership leadership (especially the GM), manage a team of 2–10 staff, and support hiring, training, and performance management.Manufacturer Relations: Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, warranty claims, and reporting requirements.Strategic Contributions: Participate in budgeting (up to $8MM), support stores with up to $200MM in revenue, and contribute to M&A activities.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in accounting/finance or 3+ years of dealership accounting experience (required).Experience in team leadership and the auto industry (preferred).Proficiency in accounting processes, reconciliation, and financial analysis.Ability to interpret financial results and recommend actions.We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family, including:Competitive payMedical, Dental and Vision PlansPaid HolidaysPTO: 80 hours front-loaded on day 1Short and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Life Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanLithia Learning CenterVehicle Purchase DiscountsWellness ProgramsAdditional information about our Total Rewards benefits can be reviewed on our careers site at School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
