As an Environmental Services Technician, you will use germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies to sanitize patient care areas, equipment, and common spaces. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, washing walls and windows, cleaning furniture and fixtures, handling soiled linens, and managing waste disposal. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, and a strong commitment to safety for patients and coworkers.

This role involves working under close supervision, performing standardized tasks quietly and promptly. You may be required to rotate between various district facilities, including clinics, hospital, and administrative offices, as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, with hospital-based experience considered a plus.

Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures. Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach. Competence in operating common cleaning tools and equipment.

The role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting and carrying items up to 35 pounds, and occasional exposure to biohazardous materials. Normal vision, hearing, and speech capabilities are necessary, with or without corrective devices.
