Role Responsibilities

• Carry out a mixture of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry to hematology and immunology-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, address discrepancies, and maintain laboratory instruments through preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in specimen collection and ensure samples are appropriately prepared for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, while also onboarding and training new employees or students, contributing to the maintenance of laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a sanitary and secure work environment compliant with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, accompanied by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure with us.
