Job Title: Nonprofit Grant Writer (Part-Time) Organization: Long Branch Environmental Education Center Application Deadline: August 31, 2026 Position Type: Part-time, approximately 5 hrs/wk Classification: Independent Contractor Position Overview Long Branch Environmental Education Center is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Nonprofit Grant Writer to secure foundation and state funding for a legacy organization with deep community roots. This role is highly autonomous, working on a flexible schedule to craft clear, competitive funding proposals. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of nonprofit storytelling, structural adherence to grant guidelines, and a passion for community-centered ecology and outdoor education. This role reports to the Executive Director. Compensation & Benefits $30/hour, 5 hours/week. Hours are highly flexible, with shifting week-to-week intensity around deadlines.
