Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner at Redwood Medical Services, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations to accurately establish diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and facilitate necessary referrals for specialized services.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and performing therapeutic procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
• Providing patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and the effective management of chronic conditions.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational best practices.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a similar healthcare setting.
• Certification in a recognized Nurse Practitioner specialty area.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
