Current Openings Who We Are Life at PMG Current Openings Position: Medical Receptionist Location: 45 Foster Road Hopewell Junction, NY Job Id: 2218 # of Openings: 1 JOB TITLE: Medical Receptionist DEPARTMENT: Internal Medicine STATUS: Full Time Non-Exempt (Hourly) LOCATION: 45 Foster Road Hopewell Junction, NY, 12533 REPORTS TO : Administrative Supervisor SHIFT/CORE HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:30PM-5:00PM one Saturday a month and one late night 11:00AM-7:30PM We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team at our Hopewell Junction location. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the medical office. Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries. Verify patient information and update medical records accurately. Collect and process patient co-pays and other payments. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with insurance verification and billing processes as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical administration is a plus. Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
