Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our clinic, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Performing thorough assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaboratively developing personalized treatment plans that align with the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address client concerns effectively.

• Providing education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their overall well-being.
\n
• Regularly monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on measurable progress and feedback.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and comprehensive treatment.

• Staying current with research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing therapeutic services to a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing mood disorders related to various life challenges such as homelessness, refugee status, and domestic violence. Your role will be crucial in offering a safe space for these clients to explore their experiences, fostering emotional healing, and guiding them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, we especially value prior experience in community mental health settings, familiarity with treating mood disorders, and skills in utilizing evidence-based therapies. Experience working with marginalized populations will also be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our compensation package is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from $70,000 – $90,000, dependent on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include:
