Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including intensity, frequency, and duration, to inform treatment plans.

• Develop personalized treatment strategies that incorporate clients’ unique goals and preferences, drawing on established methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to foster greater understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated, holistic care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continually refine therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development, contributing insights and learning from colleagues.

• Advocate for clients’ needs and work towards reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients struggling with mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, across various age groups. The therapist will provide culturally competent care, ensuring that clients from diverse backgrounds feel understood and respected throughout their therapeutic journey. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
