Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, gathering relevant history and developing rapport.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans focused on their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients’ emotions and behaviors effectively.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with information about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Track and monitor client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.
\n
• Maintain current knowledge of research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, actively integrating these learnings into practice.

• Ensure all client records and documentation are maintained accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and service delivery.

• Act as an advocate for clients, addressing issues of stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The typical clientele includes individuals affected by mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, our clinics often serve vulnerable groups including homeless individuals, refugees, survivors of domestic abuse, and those grappling with addiction. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
