SPT – Instrumentation CoordinatorSchedule1st Shift (Days) — 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; Regular schedule: Monday–Friday, rotating weekends and occasional scheduled holidays.Assignment DetailsTravel assignment required.RequirementsMinimum 3 years of sterile processing/reprocessing experience.CBSPD or CRCST certification required; IAHCSMM/HSPA acceptable.Experience with high-level disinfection, instrument decontamination/assembly, and sterilization processes (Sterrad and steam).Tracking system experience, specifically with Censitrac.Charting system preference: Epic.ResponsibilitiesPerform decontamination and cleaning of instruments including drills, scopes, and DaVinci systems.Assemble instrument sets/trays for various surgical procedures.Manage sterilization processes and ensure compliance with safety standards.Serve as the liaison between the sterile processing department and the operating room.Standardize and track instrument trays across multiple sites.Compliance / NotesFlu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
