Associate Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated and skilled Associate Litigation Attorney in Omaha, NE. This position is ideal for an attorney with 1-4 years of experience in estate, trust, and commercial litigation, as well as real estate and domestic relations. The successful candidate will provide excellent legal representation and compassionate client service, assisting a senior partner and managing a caseload from inception to resolution. Duties Manage all phases of litigation. Draft, review, and file legal documents, including petitions, complaints, and motions. Represent clients in court at hearings, mediations, and trials. Conduct and manage the discovery process. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing legal advice and managing expectations. Negotiate settlements and resolutions outside of court. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy. Requirements 1-4 years of demonstrated experience in litigation. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active member in good standing of the Nebraska State Bar. Skills Proven ability to handle court appearances and manage contested litigation. Strong understanding of financial disclosures and business valuation principles. Exceptional ability to handle high‑conflict situations with professionalism and compassion. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
