Experienced Fabricator

Responsibilities Fabricate parts and assemblies to print and within specified tolerances Read and interpret mechanical fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols Perform TIG and MIG weldment fabrication with a high level of quality and accuracy for the following materials: mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Operate fabrication equipment and tools safely and efficiently Perform material cutting, bending, punching, fitting, grinding, sanding, and assembly work Ability to learn and regularly use a Press Brake and Laser Cutter Prepare and finish weldments and fabricated parts for delivery or installation, including painting when needed Assist with T-rail systems, guarding systems, and custom assemblies Perform drilling, tapping, and general shop fabrication tasks Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule and to company quality standards On site travel and work for projects and service as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Required Skills & Experience 5–10+ years of fabrication and welding experience Strong working knowledge of MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, Plasma, and related fabrication processes Ability to complete field welding Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings Familiarity drawing packages Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Forklift and tow motor experience preferred Familiarity with 5S standards Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team environment Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Reliable transportation and ability to travel to customer locations when needed Willingness to work overtime as required Ability to work with engineers Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must pass welding and basic math tests Must pass drug screening and background check Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (available after 30 days) Life Insurance Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Profit Sharing / Year-End Bonus We are looking for dependable, skilled individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship and want to be part of a strong, team-oriented environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr APEC Engineering
