About the Role:
Join Watsontown Market as a Customer Service Clerk, where you will be the friendly face that enhances our customers' shopping experience. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing excellent service.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries and product selections.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout register.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
- Restock shelves and ensure product displays are visually appealing and well-maintained.
- Assist in managing inventory and keeping track of stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about store promotions, sales, and product knowledge to better assist customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior customer service experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills and experience with cash handling.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of grocery products and services is an advantage.
