Position Summary Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in South Florida is seeking an additional BE/BC Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join its expanding team of eight board-certified physicians trained to treat a variety of pediatric malignancies and blood disorders. The selected physician will partner with an experienced, multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered care to child and adolescent patients with a broad spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions, including solid tumors, brain tumors, leukemia, and sickle cell disease. The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders provides care for approximately 100 newly diagnosed patients annually. Responsibilities Partner with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care to pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. Provide diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for solid tumors, brain tumors, leukemia, and sickle cell disease. Collaborate with hospital research protocols as a member of the Children’s Oncology Group. Qualifications Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist. Training and experience commensurate with a competitive benefits and compensation package. Benefits This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. Compensation is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability coverage is provided under sovereign immunity.
