RESPONSIBLITIES:

Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals. Provide direction and leadership consistent with plant business plan goals. Input individual colleague hours into the Kronos system. Responsible for maintenance department safety, quality, production and delivery objectives in his/her area of responsibility. Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to support production jobs. Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.). Support plant activities towards achieving customer awards and quality registrations (ex. TS 16949/ISO14001). Assure all direct reports are aware of their Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) responsibilities and hold all direct reports accountable. Assure all safety devices are properly in place and utilized and verify individual usage of personal protection equipment (PPE) by the work team. Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.

LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides direct leadership and supervises hourly skilled trades colleagues. Ability to identify, select, train and coach management talent. Provides model behavior to demonstrate corporate values.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred. Minimum of six (6) years as a maintenance supervisor preferred, and one (1) year of management experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of manufacturing, stamping, and/or assembly processes as required for the position. Strong knowledge of TS 16949 and ISO 14001 regulations Experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts. Proven leadership ability This full-time, salary role is a part of our Maintenance department and reports to the Maintenance Manager.
