Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent,
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school. Licensure/Certification: Registered with ARDMS or eligible within 6 months of employment is required. Echo experience highly preferred Posted Salary Range USD $46.69 - USD $61.15 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits. - Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity.
- Utilizes proper body mechanics.
- Moving, positioning and transferring patients without assistance or with assistance when needed for patient safety.
- Performs routine diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures:
- This includes, but not limited to: abdomen, pelvis, major vessels, and small parts including breast, thyroid, testicular.
- Doppler Studies of Carotid, Abdomen, Pelvis, Small Parts, and Peripheral vascular exams.
- Assist in breast biopsy procedures.
- May include OR procedures.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness.
- Communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, families and healthcare team in person and via telephone.
