Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the symptoms, intensity, and duration of clients’ mood disorder-related issues.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique therapeutic needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Monitor client progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal care.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure integrated care for clients experiencing co-occurring disorders.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, attend team meetings, and pursue ongoing training to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals suffering from mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also engage with vulnerable populations, such as refugees, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals experiencing homelessness, advocating for their mental health needs and providing them with the support necessary to foster resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
