Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools as needed.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in client sessions to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress diligently, making revisions to treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changing needs.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for our clients.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders to continuously improve therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will collaborate with clients from various backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as those facing homelessness and domestic violence. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
