Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (K-8) - Extended School Year Services (ESY) [Summer 2026]

ESY 2026 Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Six positions total (K-8). Contingent upon enrollment.

Qualifications (Required):

• Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.
• Experience working with students that have behaviors due to their disabilities as outlined in their IEP.
• Ability to relate/communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
• RBT's must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.

Qualifications (Preferred):

• Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to plan with the BCBA in order to create appropriate plans during ESY.
• Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
• Keep folders/portfolios with student work.
• Perform other related activities as required by the program coordinator.

Duration:

• Program Administration and Implementation 103 hours total to include the following:
• Professional In-service Days (Date TBD 3 hours).
• 20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 6 August 6 (7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.).

Stipend: $25 an hour, $2,575 total (20 days/5 hrs + 1 inservice at 3 hours)
