Job Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to facilitate continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a unified approach to care throughout the patient's treatment.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and peer discussions.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Necessary Certifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
