Sales Assistant | Wholesale Apparel

Compensation: $60,000-$85,000 base salary, depending on experience

Location: New York City, NY (On-Site)

C-Life Group is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our growing New York City team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in wholesale apparel sales, merchandising, or account management while gaining exposure to major retail partners across the country.

In this role, you'll work closely with an experienced Sales Executive, supporting customer accounts, retailer meetings, product samples, order management, and sales operations. You'll get a firsthand look at how apparel products move from concept to retail shelves while developing the skills needed to grow within the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with a Sales Executive to support retailer accounts and daily sales activities
\n
• Prepare samples, presentations, reports, and materials for buyer meetings
\n
• Organize and maintain product samples in the showroom
\n
• Track orders, inventory, sales reports, and point-of-sale data
\n
• Assist with order entry, product tracking, and sample management
\n
• Coordinate with production and internal teams to ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items
\n
• Maintain and organize sales information using Excel and other business systems
\n
• Recap meetings and communicate key action items internally
\n
• Gradually take on client and buyer communication responsibilities as you learn the business
\n
• Jump in wherever needed to support a fast-paced, collaborative team
\n

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
\n
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
\n

Nice to Have, But Not Required

\n
• 1-2 years of experience in apparel wholesale, sales support, merchandising, retail, customer service, or a related field
\n
• Experience working with product samples, inventory, or order management
\n
• Exposure to wholesale apparel or retail environments
\n
• Experience with BlueCherry or BPRODUCT is a plus, but not required
\n
