Transportation Load Planner

Transportation Load Planner, responsible for the daily planning of inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring efficient and cost-effective loads, in a full-time day shift position. Key Responsibilities Manage transportation needs using the transportation management system and prepare daily work schedules Ensure timely delivery of rush and specialty orders while monitoring load plan optimization Coordinate with internal drivers and external carriers for the movement of materials and track deliveries Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education Minimum 5 years' experience in Transportation Planning or Supply Chain Management Knowledge of principles and costs for moving materials by road Strong MS Office Skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to use transportation software and work independently with minimal supervision
