Matt Cole Agency, a growing State Farm agency is Franklin, TN, is seeking a dynamic administrative assistant! The Admin and Sales Assistant will have 2 years of administrative experience and 1 year of experience making outbound calls. This role will help support our service and sales teams with administrative and sales support assistance. The ideal Administrative Assistant will have the required experience, be organized and attentive to detail, process-oriented, and reliable.


Compensation

• $17 to $23 an hour (based on experience)
• Part-time to Full time (20 to 40 hours a week)
• Full time employees receive Paid Time Off

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls, check voicemails, and return missed calls.
• Support the service and sales teams.
• Make outbound calls to customers and prospects.
• Follow-up on documentation requests.
• Scan and upload documentation.
• Supply tracking, sort mail, and manage deliveries.
• Deal with clients in a respectful and professional manner.
• Enter notes from each interaction in the agency management tool.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• 2 years of administrative experience and 1 year of experience making outbound calls (previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Admin Clerk, Operations Assistant, Office Administrator, Office Support, Office Assistant, or Front Office Coordinator preferred)
• High-school Diploma or equivalent
• Be respectful, reliable, and empathetic with customers
• Willingness to learn and possess a positive attitude
• Self-motivated, self-starter who does not need to be micromanaged
• Maintain client confidentiality and privacy
• Be ethical and have integrity
• Be able to work independently - while working together as a team to achieve agency goals
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem solve and think critically
• Technically savvy - Ability to use Microsoft Office, manage email, and utilize online applications

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents' employees are not employees of State Farm.

Compensation: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
