Accounting Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with an established Educational Institution to fill an Accounting Clerk position. This opportunity requires five days per week onsite in Midtown Manhattan. The engagement is expected to be open-ended, with an initial commitment of at least three months. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate payment processing Maintain vendor records and respond to invoice and payment inquiries Assist with account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support month-end accounts payable activities and reporting Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper invoice approvals and coding Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and Vlookups Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills $23-29/hr Pay Details $23.00 to $29.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
