This position is located in Portland, OR which boasts huge spans of amazing trees, foliage, landscape, and everywhere you look you can appreciate beautiful greenery! It is known as the most bike-friendly city in America, has a train system that greets you at the airport spanning across the city, and is home to the Portland International Rose Garden, the oldest in the country! Portland is the one place where you will find lively festivals, energetic music, mouthwatering food, and for you basketball fans, the Portland Trail Blazers are a 7 minute walk from the HQs building! As an Asset Management Specialist, you will:

1. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of the overall enterprise asset management program involving BPA's various business lines (Facilities, Information Technology, Fed Hydro, Transmission, Fleet and Security) to promote the reliability, efficiency and economical use of all physical assets.
2. Plan, implement, and evaluate the asset management programs across all BPA organizations, including defining requirements, and monitoring asset management program performance, and providing oversight of contractor activities when applicable.
3. Provide authoritative advice, counsel, and guidance to BPA staff and management on all aspects of asset management. Provides leadership to BPA staff assigned to assist in program activities.
4. Lead the development and implementation of enterprise asset management program objectives and initiatives to achieve BPA's goals and objectives.
5. Oversee and monitor contractor performance and provides oversight of contractor activities to assure contractors are executing the project plans on time, within budget, and with satisfactory quality.
6. Prepare periodic, BPA-wide reports on the condition and performance of BPA physical assets.
