Baystate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit at Baystate Medical Center Springfield Massachusetts . The Cardiac Progressive Care Unit is part of the Cardiac Interventional Unit which is a 33-bed unit consisting of 12 Progressive Care Unit beds and 21 Acute Care unit treats interventional cardiology patients with cases such as post-cardiac catheters post-cardiac ablation post-pacemakers and patients coming from the EP lab.

The Registered Nurse role offers the opportunity for meaningful impact while supporting patients serving the community and collaborating with a specialized team.

The Registered Nurse Will:

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide expected standards of care based on physical psychosocial cultural educational spiritual safety and age-appropriate considerations of patients.
• Assumes responsibility for the patients plan of care and is held accountable for decisions specific to the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of the plan of care.
• Provides care directly to patients and in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
• Maintains a current level of knowledge and skill with technical procedures as defined by the nursing specialty organization complies with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies and is currently licensed in the state of Massachusetts as a registered nurse.

Required Qualifications

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience

Compensation

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidates relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
